ABOUT ME

ABOUT ME

I started taking photos relentlessly from the age of 10.

My late father showed me the ropes, capturing the beauty of this natural world and all the memories that often end up in the filing cabinet between our eyes, only to be remembered vividly. I loved the way it made me stop and indulged myself into a moment of time.

I then bought my first dslr and water housing at the age of 14.

We would often holiday up to Byron, I would have mum drop me off at the pass at about 8am and pick me up around 4pm in the afternoon, fuelling off an apple and some water. I remember this day specifically, shooting @farfieldfreefriction and some fellow groms that I met on the beach who are now dears friends of mine.

I look back to this photo over and over again, reminding myself how lucky I was to find my voice, passion and happiness at such a young age.

Here I am 13 years later residing on the Surfcoast at Bells Beach, slowly turning this joy into a pursuit, not knowing what is around the corner but being able to look back and be so immensely grateful, there is truly nothing that makes me feel the way I do when I am able to show others how I see and feel the way of the world.

Thank you to all for the continuous support, here’s to more of what I love doing most.

Safe to say, Dad would be proud.
